Things that Rock my Maternity Socks Off!

For the record, I don't wear maternity socks.  I don't even know what maternity socks are, or if they are even a thing.

So, here I am 21 weeks pregnant.  I'm halfway through, and I've already experienced plenty of the usual prego woes.

These are a few of the items that I have become hugely (Ha! No pun intended) fond of!

Tums are my very best friend.  I have a bottle on the kitchen counter at home, a bottle at my desk at work, and a cute little bottle that I carry around everywhere in my purse.  Some days even water gives me heart burn.

BOBS by Sketchers are just fantastic!  I bought the glitter ones so I can wear them to work, and the sole is a lot sturdier.  They are loose enough so they don't pinch when my feet are swollen by the end of the day, but the soles are comfortable enough that I can still stand when my feet are swollen at the end of a very long day.  You have to pay attention to the sole, though, when buying.  They have one sole that is really flimsy like flip flops, and one that is a little more sturdy.

Bio-Oil is a heaven sent moisturizer!  I will continue to use this after I have the baby.  I bought it at the suggestion that it helps prevent stretch marks.  I noticed a few on my boobs, and have been using this twice a day for a few weeks now, and the red marks are already fading.  Plus, it absorbs into my skin, and leaves my whole body silky smooth.  Even my feet are smoother, and I had a problem with dry, cracked heels.  I add a drop or 2 of Eucalyptus Oil at night when my feet and ankles are swollen, and it helps keep it down.

Reece's Peanut Butter Cups.  I could sit and eat an entire bag of these wonderful little gems.  This baby loves her some chocolate, and I'm being a good little Mommy by making sure there's protein in said chocolate because I heard on the radio that candy with nuts or peanut butter is good for you the best candy for you.

We are currently working on the baby's room, so I will have nursery pictures soon.  We've got half the room painted
